2. The basics
This website is a static site with no user accounts and no comment section. Analytics cookies are only set if you explicitly agree via the consent banner (section 3).
3. Google Analytics 4 (only with consent)
If you consent via the banner (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, § 25(1) German TTDSG), we use Google Analytics 4, a web analytics service provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. Full IP addresses are not logged. Without your consent, Google Analytics is not loaded and no data is transmitted to Google. Your choice is stored locally in your browser.

4. Hosting (Cloudflare Pages)
This website is hosted by Cloudflare, Inc. When you visit the site, Cloudflare processes technically necessary data (e.g. IP address, date and time of access, user agent) in server log files in order to deliver the site and keep its operation secure (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). 5. Fonts
All fonts are served locally from this server ("self-hosted"). No connection to Google Fonts or other font services takes place.
6. Affiliate links
This website contains affiliate links marked with * (including the Amazon Associates program). Only when you click such a link do you leave this website; from that point on, the privacy terms of the respective provider apply. No affiliate tracking takes place on this website itself.
7. Newsletter
The newsletter ("The Storytime Letter") is being set up. Once it launches, subscriptions will be confirmed via double opt-in and this policy will be updated with the email service provider used.
8. Your rights
You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection (Art. 15–21 GDPR), as well as the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR).
